26/01/08 - Gentleman's Night @ Ickenham CC
|
The Gentleman's Evening will be held at Ickenham CC at 20:00 and will feature the usual variety of "hilarious comedy, sensual stripteases and personal lap dancing."
Tickets will be sold for a meagre £15; contact Tony Horan for tickets on 07740 584950 or info@snobrfc.co.uk. Tickets will also be available on the door but due to the limitation of numbers for the event, tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Members are therefore encouraged to book their tickets with Tony in advance.

24/01/08 - SNOBs Mitres Withdraw from Middlesex Merit Table V
|
SNOBs Mitres have been forced to withdraw from the Middlesex Merit Table Division V since they have not been able to fulfil the minimum quota of games. Although this is disappointing news, it will have no impact on the team's ability to compete in the league next season, and with the recent influx of new players into the club there should be no difficulty in fielding a team next year.

20/01/08 - SNOBs Secure New Coach

SNOBs are delighted to have secured the services of ex-Wasps player John Cockburn as their new coach. John joins SNOBs with a first-class playing and coaching background, having most recently coached both the Wasps Amateur and London Wasps sides. John will be taking training sessions with immediate effect, and all players are therefore encouraged to attend the weekly sessions to gain maximum benefit from John's experience. 20/01/08 - Logo Competition

SNOBs are looking for a new 'fun' logo to represent the club on merchandise and to lead up on our new player recruitment and sponsorship campaigns for next season. The club wishes to use the acronym 'SNOBs' for marketing activities, and is therefore looking for a logo that would be appropriate for a 'snob.'
The logo should be eye-catching, and simple enough to be printed on clothing. Entries can either be submitted electronically or on paper. Although entries can be in colour they should also be easy to view in only black and white.
The club is offering a free club t-shirt as advertised on the Merchandise section of the website for the winning entry as decided by the club committee.

19/01/08 - Feltham Withdraw From M/H2 South
|
Feltham have withdrawn from the M/H2 South league, and therefore the league table has been updated, removing all results they played in. This means that SNOBs have now risen from the foot of the table, and is likely to result in only one team getting relegated from the division, should the proposed league re-structuring not go ahead.

|
SNOBs have qualified for a promotion to purchase Kukri bags at the discounted rate of £25. The bags are high quality, black with external pockets and internal compartments, including a separate base compartment for storing smart, casual or sporting footwear. The bag will also include the SNOB logo, and may include individual initials.

04/01/07 - 2008 Tour Deposits Due
|
Following the success of last year's tour, the club will be travelling to Antwerp, Belgium from Friday 18th April 2008 to Sunday 20th April 2008.
The cost of the tour will be c. £150 and will include transport to and from Antwerp (Coach/Ferry) as well as accommodation whilst we are there. The cost will also cover your tour polo shirt.
Many of you have expressed an interest in attending. However in order to secure the trip we need confirmation of your attendance and your tour deposit in order to hold the booking. If you intend to go on tour please do not disregard this message. The club needs your deposit ASAP in order to secure the booking.
Deposits for £50 need to be paid ASAP - alternatively those wishing to pay the full £150 are welcome to do so.
The club would prefer to receive payments by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to 'SNOBs RFC' and should be marked 'Tour' on the reverse. Cheques can be posted to:
