23 Sep 2006 - Vice-President's Reception
|
The opening Vice-President's reception of the season begins at 12 noon in the clubhouse with a complimentary wine and buffet lunch. The club are trying to get as many old players and associates back to the club as possible. Guests will then be invited to support the 2nd XV and 1st XV who both have home league fixtures, and will then return to the clubhouse for a presentation awards ceremony before drinking long into the night! Can all ex-players and associates please make every effort to spread word of this events to any old members they are still in contact with to ensure a great turnout at this event.

21 Sep 2006 - Wealdstone withdraw from M/H 2 South League
|
Wealdstone have unfortunately been forced to withdraw from the Middlx/Herts 2 South League. SNOBs and Wealdstone have enjoyed a healthy rivalry over the past few seasons and it is obviously sad that the club are experiencing difficulties that have forced them to pull out of the league. We wish them the very best, and hope that they will be back on their feet next season.

17 Sep 2006 - Mitres XV Physiotherapist Announced!

The club are proud to announce that Lorna Bodsworth will be standing as Mitres XV physiotherpaist for the 2006/07 season. Lorna is a fully qualified physiotherpaist and works alongside 1st XV physiotherapist Sarah McElhiney at Hillingdon hospital.

Hairy SNOBs stalwart Jim Martin has sadly decided to hang his boots up to spend more time with his family. Jim has played hooker SNOBs for over 20 years and captained the club in the 1987/88 season. He has been a first team regular for many years and his remarkable resilience means that he has played over 450 games for the club! A remarkable record by any standards! We wish him well and hope to see him around!
